Location
The taiga is the largest biome. It covers large areas of Russia, Northern Europe, and Canada. It can also be found in the higher altitudes in the northern and western part of the U.S. Some animals have adapted to the environment by hibernating, growing more fur during the winter months, or just simply changing their fur colour to white in order to blend in with the snow.
